Fall Workshop & Annual Meeting

The  2018 Fall Workshop & Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, October 22 at the Hilton Garden in Auburn Maine. Doors open at 8am. This is an all day event ending with tours at the following facilities:

ewaste/We Compost It!, ReEnergy, and Lewiston-Auburn Water Pollution Control Authority.

Maine Citizens Recognized by EPA for Environmental Achievements

“Long time MRRA Board member and partner George McDonald, recipient of the prestigious MRRA Distinguished Service award, is recognized nationally for his outstanding contributions to materials management and environmental stewardship by the US EPA”

 

George McDonald of Belgrade was recognized with a lifetime award for his many years of service to the health and environment of the state. And Maggie Shannon of Belgrade Lakes and Dale Mitchell of Perry were recognized with individual awards for their work on the environment.
